I will be upgrading a BCM50 this evening from 1.0 to 5.0. I know I need to go to 3.0 first, but do I then go to 5.0 after or is there some kind of imaging involved?
From what I understand, it should go like this:
1. Upgrade to 3.0
2. Upgrade to 5.0
3. Download Imaging Tool (on disk)
4. Install patches
If I am missing anything or whatever, I would appreciate any comments.

Thanks

That's correct. I would add a backup before the first, and after the second though.

Thank you bluemr2. That is exactly what I am going to do.

Once youre done with the 3.0 upgrade I would still put in the 3.0 image. Just in case the 5.0 upgrade fails and you have to do a level 2 reset, you will go back to 1.0 and have to do the 3.0 upgrade all over again.
