Upgrading Aloha XP terminal?

We updated our Aloha system over a year ago, we brought in 2 new terminals and kept the old terminal and BOH computer. I converted the old file server so we could use it as a regular PC and was wondering if there was some way to upgrade the XP on the old terminal so we could make it part of our new system and connect to the new file server, running Win 7? I am sure I have to get a activation code or something from our vendor but was wondering if this is even a viable option?

Please keep in mind I am tech savvy enough to be dangerous but follow instructions very well!

It would depend on the model of the terminal
Some models do not have drivers for win7
