IT has just installed ACCESS 2010 on all our PC's, and I am experiencing problems with applications that were created in ACCESS 2003. On opening an old database I get an error message stating that something is missing or been renamed, and to go to Tools/References in VB and see whats missing. I did that and it tells the Visual Basic for Applications is one of the missing components.

I had VB on my machine and wrote a fair bit of code with it. 2010 shows up and VB is gone, I assume. Do I need to get another site license for VB, or is there another solution.

Thanks in advance

VBA comes with each Microsoft Office product.

Try reloading Access, and be sure that the custome installation has not excluded loading VBA.

Skip,

Thanks for the response. I found an aricle that describes how to turn on VB. Got past that, but there are still a lot of issues with converting from 2003 to 2010.

Thanks again
