I've got a fiber NAM I system with 1 card in it, and 8 ports. I've also got an extra fiber card that I can throw in there - do I need any special software - and do I need to be aware of incompatibility between revisions on the cards? Thanks!

It's got 4.0.4c on it, not programmed.

You do not need 2 Fiber Cards only 1. You would add MSPEC cards to the fiber card to get more ports.

The MSPEC card is a PC card that plugs into a slot inside the NAM. Each MSPEC card makes 8 additional channels available for use. Keycodes are then required to activate the additional channels.
