Upgrading 5.1 straight to 5.1b

Hello,
Has anyone on the list upgraded straight from Tru64 5.1 to 5.1b? My company is looking to save time and money by skipping 5.1a, but is wary of the pitfalls of this route. Any thoughts and views welcomed!
