upgrading 3.7 to a 4.0

I need to do an upgrade on a BCM 400 and I was wondering if anyone had any issue's in doing this before. Is it easy or will I possibly run into some issue's and what would they be?

Run the pre-check to verify it is good to upgrade then run the upgrade.
