hello

I’m in the process of upgrading one of our 1751v routers to support a total of SIX analog voice ports. At the moment the router has FOUR analog ports, TWO DID (one card) and TWO FXO (one card). It currently has TWO PVDM-256K-4 DSP’s and 64mb of RAM with 8mb of Flash.

My plan is to replace ONE of the PVDM-256K-4 DSP’s with a PVDM-256K-8. My understanding is the PVDM-256K-4 + PVDM-256K-8 will support the SIX analog ports. I’ll be replacing the TWO port FXO card with a FOUR port FXO, thus giving us a total of SIX analog ports.

So, should this work with the current memory resources? Is there anything else I need to get? Am I missing anything you think?

here's what i'm looking at:

4 port FXO:
Extra DSP:

Thanks Guys

OOPS! I meant I'll be replacing the TWO port DID with a FOUR port DID card. The FXO will stay the same with TWO ports....sorry
