Upgrading 1140e/1120e firmware on BCM 50

Hello All,

I am looking for some help on Upgrading firmware for 1120e and 1140e sets. We have tried using a PC and a TFTP server....and, while having some progress...cannot complete the download. I am wondering how to force download a specific load onto our sets using a BCM 50 w Element Manager. Any procedure available?

If you know how to go into the configuration settings of the phone (by pressing the Services Button Twice and entering COLOR*SET as the password,) set the Provisioning Server to the IP Address of your BCM on the Network. Restart the phone and upon reboot, the phone should automatically start uploading the latest firmware stored in the BCM's hard drive.

That is the the procedure if your BCM is up to date?

I need 0624C8J and 0625C8J firmware in the set...will I need to download a specific patch?

apply the latest SU patch to the bcm system.
The ip phones will automatically download it when the system reboots.
