This problem came to light quite recently when I noticed that the 'o' files (opasswd, ouser, etc..) are not being updated when the corresponding file is changed ( add a user to "user" and it appears in the file, but not in the "ouser" file ).
What appears to have caused this is the upgrade to 5.3 from 5.2, or is the behaviour in 5.3 different to 5.2, does it no longer use these files?
Or, as I suspect, is something terribly wrong..
