I Migrated a 5.1 Server to a new server running 6.0, using the migration wizard, everything seem to go fine, until some users said they could open files on their home share but not save them after modifications, I realized I didn't do the last step, for the trustee relations, after I rebooted the server, but when I tried to run it on my laptop It gave an error about licensing, I installed a 10-user liscense on the 6.0 server, so it should let me in, I used NWconfig32 to check the liscensing, and it shows the 15 5.1 liscenses that i used to have but no 6.0 liscenses, PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS .... I was contracted out to upgrade this company and my last day to fix it is MONDAY!

I would delete the NW 5.x licenses (if this is the only 5.x server) and then reinstall the new 6.0 licenses. Guess you should not of skipped that last step.

You may want to review all the users rights. Sometimes its just an issue with the user not having correct rights to access (delete the existing file)

example: When I openm a file and modify it, when the time comes to save that file, the original file is deleted and the new file is saved. In order to save the new file, I need to have the Modify and Erase rights to that folder or directory.
