I installed all the latest patches after upgrade yesterday then installed the RCC server. RCC only pulled the call records since the upgrade... How can I get the old call records?

Thanks!

First need to know what version of BCM and release you have.
Then need the RCC version to verify SQL database.
Basically slq database will reside in one of the following
2 folders dependent upon BCM release and desktop patches installed.
look in C:program files\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\Data\CCRDB (this is
where your database will reside)
Newer releases will be running MS SQL Server Express
look in C:\program files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL .1\MSSQL\Data
the 2 files CCRDB.mdf and CCRDB_log.mdf will be this database.
If you have a backup then just stop all RCC and SQL services and
copy the files over to the working server. Once you start back
up the services it should retrieve from where the old database stopped
pulling records. Hope this helps/

Did you install RCC on the same PC.
Did you install the RCC from the BCM application or was it Itel RCCrel5.

A month or so ago we had updated the 450 (then at Release 1) to the latest Desktop and System SU. The old Win2003 RCC server was updated and working...

Tuesday night I upgraded to R6 and applied the current SU's. I installed RCC on a new Win2008R2 server. The new RCC server only collected 25 calls from the BCM. These were calls received after the upgrade... The old Win2003 server was 32bit and the new Win2008R2 server is 64bit.

Below are notes from the Desktop SU that both the R1 and R6 system had/has installed.

R1 system:
BCM450.R100.SU.Desktop-008.201112
RCC version- 2.6.417.0.61.10
BCM450.R100.RCC-129
Java 1.6.0 (included in RCC installation)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (included in RCC installation)

R6 system:
BCM450.R600.SU.Desktop-003.201203
RCC version- 2.6.418.0.61.10
BCM450.R600.RCC-65*
BCM450.R600.RCC-54
Java 1.6.0 (included in RCC installation)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (included in RCC installation)

Hopefully I covered everything. Thanks for the help!

Copy the CCRDB.mdf and CCRDB_log.mdf form the old server and replace the ones presently in your new server. If the old databases was good before the upgrade then the system should start pulling records from the oldest record in the BCM. Will need to reset your connection page on the RCC server also since your IP address for the server has probably changed.

So copying is ok to do? Not backup and restore? Backup and restore procedure is in the RCC troubleshooting guide...

I uninstalled RCC on the old server. Didn't touch SQL... Re-installed RCC from the upgraded BCM and let it convert the database. Connected to the BCM and retrieved calls from the last few days. Then I copied the CCRDB and CCRDB_log files to the new server. Everything is working!

Thanks for the help jaspertel!

Still not sure why the BCM didn't retain the calls. Unless I just missed something in the upgrade procedure...
