I am trying to migrate my FW data from a NG3 to a new NG3 server. OS is W2K. I was trying to run the upgrade_export utility on the old firewall from the dos prompt and the only output I get is the help
C:\temp>upgrade_export

Usage: upgrade_export [-d] [-h] [-v] <exported file name>

Where:
<exported file name> - the path to export the DB
-d - prints debug information
-h - prints this usage
-v - prints the version
I have tried various output file names and using all switches. I have moved the utility files to the fw\bin directory and received the same problem. The FW is not installed in the default directory.

Any ideas of why the command line is not working?

Thanks in advanced

I figured it out

c:\<PATH>\upgrade_export.exe /fwbackup

It would have been nice if they specified the forward slash before the exported file name in the instructions.
