what is needed to upgrade a g3v6 to v7 or v8...a processor
change or netcon card....any ideas..thanks

If you're G3si can run release 6 software it can run 7 and 8 also. It should just be a flashcard update. Not until you get to release 9 where you add the tn2404 and the tn2400/2401 sandwich card.

You will probably find that you can't get an upgrade to 7 or 8. I would suspect the lowest upgrade you can get now would be at least v10

Bobg1, I believe now it is v11+, Avaya seems to be pushing the latest and greatest sooner and faster with each new release, we are upgrading and could not get anything below v11.
