We have to update our version of CiscoView to version 5.3 and that requires Solaris 2.6/2.7 and i wanted to know what version of Openview can run with both of these versions? and do i need any patches on Solaris?

Openview 6.1 or 6.2 will definately run on solaris 2.6/2.7. You will however need a whole load of solaris patches (6-8) it is a bit ugly really. Openview 6.1 has one consolidated patch and has basiclly been superceeded by openview 6.2 that presently requires 4 patches (i think). Ciscoview depends on you're network equipment type and revisions....
