I am upgrading a 3.2 406 system equipped with 60 stations, PRI and 10 FAX machines with a new 500 V2 and 9.1 system. They currently have VMPro. I was curious if I can import the existing MDB to the new server. It would save a lot of time.

Yes, just export them the usual way and import them into the new Voicemail Pro Server.

Don't forget to copy across all the Accounts, Names, Greetings and WAVS too.

I'd double check each module afterwards to make sure successful.

I would only export and import the callflows and start over.
Just copy the MDB seems a dangerous one with such a software difference.
Tell the company to listen to voicemails and delete them when done.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes I think I will just import the call flows. Best to get a clean start.

Avaya Official tech bulletins state
to upgrade to 9.1 you can upgrade from 8.0GA or newer
to get to 8.0 you have to upgrade from 4.x/5.x/6.x/7.0
to get to 4.x (meaning 4.0 / 4.1 or 4.2) from 3.2 you can upgrade to 4.2

this means you can upgrade

3.2 - 4.2 - 8.0 - 9.1

or do what the other guys suggested, backup all
reinstall 9.1
upload the .mdb and put all the .wav files back (that is what I would do too)
