Upgrade Veritas Datacenter 3.4.1 to version 4.5

Hello I have been given the task of upgrading veritas 3.41 to 4.5. I would appreciate any help as to how to go about this task (like a check list) and any problems I should be aware of. The system is 2 years old and I was not here for the orinigal install. OS is windows 2000 advanced server. Our image files our now 10 gib. Not sure how to go about this any help will be appreciated
