Upgrade UCM from 8.0 to 9 IP Address 0.0.0.0

I have just done an upgrade on a UCM from 8.0 to 9.0 everything appears to have gone ok, i have the green light on the front of the UCM as expected, within the sys status its giving an ip address of 0.0.0.0

I had a monitor plugged in to the UCM so i could see what was going on, it all appeared to load fine. because of the 0.0.0.0 i shut it down using ss and re started,

now on the screen it sys UC Module login. i logged in using the default, and i can get to the network interface.

i have rebooted a couple of times but it just goes back to the same login screen and has 0.0.0.0


Any ideas would be most appreciated,

Login as root and type system-config-network and see what is configured.
After changing (when needed) type service network restart

there are 3 entries

eth0- (eth0) Intel Corp etc etc

This was blank originally and i had put in the ip address i wanted but it made no difference​

eth0.1 (eth0.1) - Ethernet

​

this has 192.168.42.200​

eth0.3 (eth0.3) - Ethernet

​

this has 169.254.0.2​

i have installed the application server as i needed to put the onex on a separate machine due to the number of users, i have temporarily activated the VMPro on the application server but i cant get the greetings working on the new one. so i may have to still try with getting the UC back up and running

should i be changing the IP on eth0, eth0.1 or eth0.3?

You need the 0.1 interface.
The 0.2 is for internal communication with the IPO.
