Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice. I have a 2003 standard server 32bit in terminal services mode. I need more than 4 gig of ram so i will have to upgrade to the enterprise edition 32 bit. Is this a straight forward upgrade of inserting the enterprise CD and clicking next, next, next or is it more involved.

I've checked the MS site and can't find instructions for this. Anything i have to watch out for specifically as this is a terminal server?

I will ofcourse be taking a full backup before the upgrade.

Thanks

Paul

Why do you need more than 4 Gigs? I am running a 2003 standard Terminal Server and it works fine on 4 Gigs.

A custom application we run on the TS requires more ram.

Thanks

Thanks Dberg35 i have seen them. I was just wondering if anyone has done the same and come accross any issues.

Thanks

Paul

The only upgrade I did was 2000 to 2003 and had no issues. The best install is a clean on if you can do that but otherwise maybe call MS.
