I plan to upgrade from Win. 98 - 2nd to XP. Sidekick 98 is already installed on the computer. The Microsoft software upgrade check did not flag any issues with Sidekick.

Should I expect any problems or issues after the upgrade?

Thank you.

Peter

Peter,

Sorry I can't be of help, but I am running two adjacent machines. One w/ Win98 and one with WinXP. I'm keeping Sidekick on the old one, because it works and I love the program and can't let go of it (even tho everyone else has!)

So I'd be interested in hearing of your experiences with attempting to run it on XP.
Good luck.

Chris

OK - Windows XP is up and running and THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS AT ALL with Sidekick 98. Peter

I have Sidekick 98 on an XP machine. Only problem I have is I can't backup sidekick to a server on the network. Sidekick sees the machines as having negative drive space.

Dear PRHelt,
