Hi all
Have a customer with a small LAN consisting of:-
1 x Linux (Ubuntu) server
n x Win 7 boxes
1 x Win XP Pro box
They have added a Win XP Home box to the LAN, but to access the Linux server a username/password is required every time after boot or reboot even if the Linux server drive has been mapped.
None of the other boxes need these credentials.
Due to age of the hardware, a Win 7 upgrade is not a proposition.
So, is there a registry entry missing in the Win XP Home version that could be added to avoid upgrading to XP Pro?
