We will be upgrading our PBX to 6.0 in the next couyple weks and in preperation for that I will need to upgrade my 3904/5's firmware. I currently have firmware 092. Will that be good enough for the PBX upgrade or do I need to install 093 to go to Rls 6.0?

The early firmware will get you through, but ASAP you should update.

As an example: We had a Rel 4.5 u/g to 5.5. An issue we noticed was with 3903s and call pickup.... the soft keys were wrong. Flash u/g fixed all.

Make sure that you update the deplist, mgc loadware and firmware
as well. I experienced 2 issues after an upgrade to 6.0. System wide cross talk (an established call could be entered just by picking up another phone to make a call) and you couldn't transfer
a caller to voice mail using Express messaging (no soft key -
functions would appear after Exp Message answered to allow transfer of caller to mail box).

when rls 6 first came out, the 3904 sets and 3905 sets would lose their transfer key. They fixed that with a patch, as long as you put in the latest deplist when you upgrade you can wait until after the upgrade.
