I have recently upgraded a site from 8.1 to R9. The system had CTI licences which were working fine with their Taxi dispatch software. Since the site has been upgraded from 8.1 to 9 the tapi driver has not been working.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I would be doing this:

A) Check TAPI is enabled in security settings.
B) Also ensure 50797 UDP IPO TAPI From a system TAPI user PC is not blocked.

Then:
1) Download the User CD for release 9. (IP Office 9.0 Service Pack 5 - User CD 4.2(61))
2) Uninstall the release 8 User Suite.
3) Reboot.
4) Unzip User Suite release 9 (IP Office 9.0 Service Pack 5 - User CD 4.2(61))
5) Install unzipped IP Office 9.0 Service Pack 5 - User CD 4.2(61)with TAPI2.
6) Reboot.
7) Check dialer.exe shows IP Office Phone under >Connect Using
8) No success? Go to step 2.

You lose, Carl Miller.

With release of 9.0 (SP3 if I remember right) it went necessary to enter the system password (you also need it to upgrade) in third party TAPI configuration. Earlier releases didn't need a password and accepted even wrong passwords. So I think that's the reason...
