Upgrade to R5 for IPO 406v2

I'm wanting to move our lines over to SIP - including a fax number within the DDI - our SIP provider has suggested that we upgrade our IPO to R5 to enable T38 for the fax ..

So downloaded R5_0_26 and installed alongside existing manager software on the PC.
Run the Upgrade Wizard - it finds my IPO but it's greyed out ...
It'd upgrade the 16 port digital expansion box though which is currently on 6.2(4).

IPO is currently on 4.2.4 - do I need to go through an interim release?

I imagine the bin file has gone astray or somthing is up with the working directory, sorth that or try an uninstall of both Managers and clean install of R5 then upgrade (stepping that module through 3.2.999 if it's Dig)
