Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade a R11.5 SP4 installation to R12 SP1.
The R11 installation is using a database on a SQLSERVER Express 2005, with an instance named BLABLA.
When running the R12 setup, if I choose to use SQLExpress it gives me a warning about loosing the old ASDB database, and about creating a new instance called ARCSERVE_DB.
In case I choose to use a SQL Server Database, it detects my server/instance where the R11.5 database exists, but says it's a SQL Express instance, and to choose another server/instance or go back and select SQLExpress.
Does anybody knows how to upgrade from R11.5 to R12 and use an already existing SQLExpress instance that is not named ARCSERVE_DB?
Thanks,
Alex.
