Upgrade to Notes R6 using SMS

I want to upgrade our Notes client R5.0.11 to 6.0.3 using SMS since I have more than 3000 of them. I created a package using the proper installation package and I created a collection into which I include some of the computer I want to upgrade. Even though the membership rules are there ad correct, the collection doesn't get populated, hence the software upgrade does not get advertised on the client. Anyone would know why is this happening?

How do you know for sure your rules are correct? How did you build the collection?

this might be a dumb question----did you update the collection membership after adding your membership rule?
