Recently upgrade to MICS 6.1 and now I have an M7310 that the BLF will not accurately show when an extension is in use.

Also have 4 M7324 doing the same thing...

I've have heard that the M7310 must be a rls later than 16 to work with a BLF on this software. It has only 1-4 selection on contrast setting.

However, the M7324's go 1-9 but still won't accurately display the extension's key lamp

please help!

What release are both sets? they are diplayed under the phone. Also get version number from Maintenance Port Status.

A real quick indicator of the Software Version of sets is to try [F]*7 and adjust the display contrast. Older version sets will only give 4 levels of contrast. If this is the case, and BLF is attached to 7310 set the BLF will no longer work on 6.x software. Additionally, on these older version of sets if internal autodial keys were I/P on keys with LCD indicators, their busy lamp application will no longer work. The key will still auto-dial the appropriate extension, but there will no longer be the set in use indicator beside key.
