Hi there
Recently I had upgraded my exchange 5.5 server to exchange 2000. Upgrade is quite successful. All users are migrated and smtp-coonector is also installed on e2k server for sending outside emails. Infact I had switched off 5.5 server but not yet removed till I make sure that there is no error message.
Now here is the message- some of the users get a message-"Unable to update public free/busy data. The content of this public folder are currently unavailable. Either the Microsoft Exchange Server computerservicing this public folder is down or public folder has not been replicated to this site. See your administrator". I don't even know what is this public free/busy data. Can some one explain me what is this. And what should I do to get rid of this message. This message comes once or twice in a day only for some users and not to everyone. Also when this message is about to pop, outlook freezes for a min then this message pops up. and when user hit ok, things start working again. Plz get me some tip to get rid of this message and explain me what is it regarding and why it pops up only for 5-6 users out of 70 users.
with best regards
Shakeel
