Hi,

I have a client who was on 6.0, who we purchased an 8.1 upgrade license for. I upgraded to 8.0 with no problems, and then installed the latest Manager, 10.1(57), and started to upgrade to 8.1, but before I went ahead, I noticed in the "Licensed" field on the upgrade wizard, it was showing "5 (R8.0)" - the number in brackets is meant to be the highest version that the license will support, according to the Avaya documentation.

Popped a screenshot in below to show what I mean.

Is this right? Is there a problem with the license, or is it just a red herring? I asked our supplier, and they said it "should" be fine, which makes me uneasy...

Thanks,

Will

It will be fine as long as you have upgrade licence 6 (8.1) in your licences. It some times does not show what you are actually licenced for in the upgrade tab until you actually complete the upgrade.
