I'm thinking about upgrading the SonicOS on my Pro 3060 from Standard to Enhanced. Does anyone know for sure if it's possible to export the settings from Standard to be imported into Enhanced? Thoughts from someone that has made this switch would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Enhanced is a completely different OS compared to that of standard. Best thing to do is print out a TSR (you can print screen shots also if that helps you better), backup your existing firmware (in case you need to go back), export your config (in case you need to go back), do the upgrade and install like it's a new box except you'll reference the TSR (or screen shots) for your configuration details (nat(s), routes, objects, groups, etc...).

Just out of couriosity, since the Pro series is being discontinued, did you have to pay money for the Enhanced OS. I just upgraded my 5060Pro to a NSA4500 with 2 years of CGS and the upgrade price was reasonable. If by chance you do upgrade at some time in the future to one of the NSA's, there still is no supported migration utility or way to carry your config from ver.4 of the Enhanced OS on the Pro's to ver.5 of the Enhanced OS on the NSA's. You'll have to redo the config yet again.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response, that is exactly the confirmation I was looking for.
I wasn't even aware that the Pro line was being discontinued, I had just gotten some pricing for the Enhanced OS from a couple of resellers and there was no mention of it. Of course they were planning on charging me for it.
