Upgrade ProCurve Switch from Version L.10.23 to L.11.24 1

Would you like to share any best practices or word of cautions before I execute this to our core switch?

Background: I have around 8 more HP J4121A ProCurve Switch 4000M [revision C.09.30, ROM C.06.01 (/sw/code/build/vgro(c09)] connected into the core.

Anyone who already experienced using MIB (it is included from the download site)?

4000Ms are *so* old, it's not funny. The fact you're still using them is proof of how good they were!

Whenever you're going up a major version (L.10 --> L.11), it pays to read the release notes for every software release in between. This will give you a feel for the issues which exist, issues which were introduced, and how these were addresses as well as new features which were introduced and this will also help you figure out your upgrade path if it's not as easy as just slapping on the latest version.
