Upgrade procedure - Authorizations 3.1H to 4.6

I am looking for an upgrade procedure for authorizations from 3.1 to the 4.6 Releases (how and what to look for).Is there any Reports/abaps that can be run to identify transactions that is still valid for the new release.
Is there any SAP standard convertion program.

Johan,

You can run su25 and it should have option for you to identify new transaction. The other way to find obselete transaction is through the release note. I just completed an upgrade for a major oil company. Here are some tips:

1. Redesign security to be Role-based.
2. Convert all custom programs to transaction and add to user menu so that you can get rid of SA38/SE38. This will satisfy one of the audit requirement.
