Anyone have a Guess-timate of how much a software upgrade would cost from Version 4.2 up to the newest 11? Need to start testing the water....

Depends were you are located. If you are located in The Netherlands I have a really good deal for you!!! Plan your work............Work your plan

I haven't done that exact upgrade, but for Y2K, I upgraded some G3iV1 switches to G3siV6. That cost me about $50,000 back then.

I would think it's going to be a lot more for a G3r upgrade.

Hope that helps.

OK, my memory is very bad today. It actually was about $25,000 each, looked at the wrong spreadsheet.

Sorry for the confusing posts.

Based on the numbers I have from August and depending on who
you deal with it should be somewhere in the 15-20K area.
That is through a US Avaya partner.

I've been quoted $25K from Avaya + 2 other ARS's to go from R10 to R11 G3R (CTI/ASAI added about $5K). -CL

The nubers I show are for a G3siV4 to G3siR11
There is a cabinet change for a pre r9 list 7300 quote 5200
clan card list 1250 quote 883
software license for R8 and prior list 10500 quote 7500
and install charges of about 5000

If you are doing Audix upgrades or message managment integration, those would also be addition charges.

R9/R10 to Multivantage Definity R $16,500
ASAI CORE License Upgrade $5500
G3R Duplication $1500
Install $2500

$26K Total -CL

I guess I got a smoking deal $13,800.00 G-3si r8 to r11 US/Expanets Installed, hardware and software Wisdom is Knowledge

I depends on the current hardware/software configuration you have. We recently upgraded from 6 to 10, and it involved new memory, C-Lan, Media Processor, and RTU features for the Call Center Elite Package.... Cost us about 35K.

its going to depends on how many ports your licensed for, what features you have, any hardware that needs to be upgraded with it.

we just did an upgrade from vs. 6 - 11 and it set us back about 40 grand or so.

Wow, that's more then i thought, guess this small charter school will stay at version 4.2 :(
