Hi, I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone has a Crystal Reports upgrade step by step plan that they would be willing to share with the understanding that the server configurations would probably be different. We are moving from 7 to 10 for both Crystal Reports and Crystal Enterprise and I am trying to get the high level steps on paper.

Thanks

Well CR you just install and use the same way, it will want to convert any older reports you edit to the new version.
CE/BOE, well, it's fairly straightforward, you just install it on your web server and publish your reports to it, I'm assuming you've been running unmanaged? That is no longer supported, you'll have to run in managed mode now, and write an asp/aspx that calls them through the BOE API, see "any way to run a .rpt without login on" on this forum for the code. That was the hard part for us, learning managed mode, but it's so much better and more stable. There are so many issues that will arise that it's hard to stick by a script for this, just jump in, but it's on the BO site. Sorry if I'm not more clear, it's a muddy subject at best.
