upgrade oracle 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.6 on windows 2003 r2

Hi all,


Please advise the steps i need to follow to upgrade from oracle 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.6 or apply the patch!!

I ran the setup but when i check v$version but it still says 9.2.0.1

please help.

Hi,
Check the docs that came with the patch..
V$VERSION may not reflect the change until the database is bounced, maybe.
