In regards to the Zen 3.1 Upgrade to Zen 7. I have alot of Applications that are used through the Start Menu. I now know that the new Zen 7.0 has to have an agent installed on the workstation and 3.1 didn't. We ran 3.1 out of the login script.

Do you know if the applications that I have set for version 3.1 will work with 7.0 or do they all need to be recreated with the upgrade to 7.0.

Wow, brent. Harsh.. Have another cup of coffee [morning]

That link doesn't even talk about his applications. Bunch of mumbo jumbo blah blah blah - are you sure you've even read it?

Wonsie, let me put it this way. It's not like you have to start over. This isn't Windows. Your Applications aren't going to go "POOF" and be gone. ZEN 7 adds some new stuff and new capabilities to your applications, and some of the old legacy stuff goes away. Those are the things you need to understand. I think there is a paragraph buried somewhere in that link that talks about the changes to your apps. You're probably not using a lot of the stuff they talk about, so ignore those.

Has all the information he needs

But for someone doing an upgrade with no prior experience in upgrading Zenworks, they should read EVERYTHING all section, do no skip a chapter.

Thanks Marv for the consideration. I will read EVERYTHING - ha and let you know if I need more assistance.

You should thank Brent.. I knew that paragraph was in there somewhere, but couldn't find it for nothing until brent pointed out the exact section.
