Hi,

I am in the middle of trying to figure out how to upgrade our Windows NT4 Proliant 8000 server. I am confused as to the proper steps from HP/Compaq. First off I am not quite sure if the newer hp smartstart 6.x series cds are supported since i found a document that says they are aren't but the support section of the Proliant mentions the new support paq which is version 6.4. Also I can't for the life of me find win2k drivers for the 4250ES Smart Array controller that we currently have running. The smart Start CD's don't seem to have them so that I can create my nice little driver disk to load up when windows 2000 is being upgraded (The file needed is CPQARRY2.SYS according to the win2k upgrade document located here = )

If anyone has some insight into this I would appreciate some input.

Thanks
