Howdy,

I need to upgrade 20 servers running NT 4.0 Server (in a 4.0 domain network). The network is a combination of 20 NT 4.0 domain/bdu servers and seven W2K (file servers). I want to keep the current user accounts which is why I want to upgrade. Is there an upgrade disk? I was under the impression that you could do the upgrade with the W2K full installation disk, but when I get to the first screen, "Welcome to Setup", there is no upgrade option, just the full installation.

Thanks,

bkonner

No, there is no update disk. Booting from the 2000 Server CD on your NT Server 4.0 system should give the option for upgrade (in the first or second screen.
If not, verify you are trying to upgrade from NT Server 4.0 to 2000 Server (both must be Server versions). Check current hardware - does it meet requirements for 2000 Server?
