upgrade nds 8.38 ?

Hello
I have a freshly installed nw51sp8 with nds 8.38 and I want to upgrade to latest edir. I have tried downloading different upgrades from novells site but when I try to install them they all say that I need to have a higher version (If I try to install 8.7.3.8 it says I need 8.7.3 and so on)
What is the proper procedure to upgrade from 8.38 to 8.7.3.8 ?

Oh.... You had me confused there but I just realized what you are talking about.

You FIRST have to install 8.7.0 (or 8.7.3). THEN you can install 8.7.3.8. You just need the base 8.7.x code before you can put the update on.

You can do a search at DOWNLOAD.NOVELL.COM for eDIrectory and you should be able to find what you need.
