upgrade MM3.1 to 4.0

Hi,
Upgrading MM from 3.1 to 4.0 mss backend.
All went according to doc's until I tried to put patches on. Patches said failed to connect with MSS. Thought I would check the setup and send of MAS Host Information to make sure it was going to send, but that fails to. Checked LDAP passwords and retyped them in MSS. Any ideas?

Issue resolved.
Retyped LDAP password but then gave it more time before trying it. Then MAS host setup and send worked.
