Thanks texeric - but i didn't see one from r4 to r5.2? I believe there are intermediate steps?
The documentation provides steps from 3.x or 4.0 to 5.2.
Starting on electronic page 137 (physical page 115) for Avaya provided servers.
Starting on electronic page 161 (physical page 139) for customer provided servers.
That is from November 2009 version. The page numbers may be different in the current release of the document but the instructions are the same.
