Upgrade/migrate route nt4sbs edition to w2003 server

I am running NT4 (Small Business Server) and exchange 5.5 - what is the best route for upgrading. I was going to upgrade the server to w2003 server, but I believe exchange 5.5 doesn't work on that. Should I upgrade to exchange w2003 first? Does SBS NT4 even upgrade to W2003 Enterprise or Standard Server or do I need w2003 SBS? Any help appreciated
