Upgrade Merlin Messaging to 2.5

I currently run Merlin Messaging 1.7 on my Magix. I recently purchased a 2.5 Messaging board. I had two questions regarding the upgrade. Will the existing 6-port licensing PCMCIA card work on the 2.5 board? Also is there a way to backup programming information and restoring onto the new 2.5 system?

I just upgraded my Messaging 1.1 with 2.5 today. The 6 port card seems to work fine, but I'm scrounging for a way to transfer configs as well...

Soory to say but nlike the Legend.magix processors, Avaya didn't design a way to "convert" or upgrade your previous translations from R1.X to R2 or R2.5.

If you have the R2.5, initial setup is simple as it configs automatically. You still have to setup your AA and greetings etc, but that really isn't hard and most extensions could probably use a fresh greeting announcement!
