Hello,

Does anyone know how to upgrade the Merlin Messaging software from 4.0.42 to 4.0.43? There is a new feature in 4.0.43 that I could really use. I posted a topic in this forum about it:

Apparently, Avaya has implemented an override for this feature with 4.0.43. I found this document on the subject:

Sounds great, but how do I get the latest release installed?

Any Ideas??

Thanks,

Brandon

Hi Jack: Apparently the new feature is to disable the built-in recorded "warning" for "Record-A-Call" and replace it with just a "beep" - which is a nice touch if you want to record an angry customer - and not let them know it. I would guess that a lot of Avaya customers were complaining about how obvious it made their attempts to record calls. However, as noted by Brandon there is no reference on where to get the newer version of the software - or if it is available in a "download".
