The documentation for ISA 2006 states that you can upgrade from 2004 Standard to 2006 Standard and from 2004 Enterprise to 2006 Enterprise but it isn't supported to upgrade from 2004 Standard to 2006 Enterprise or from 2004 Enterprise to 2006 Standard. Even though it isn't supported is it possible or does the installer just stop? I have the option of upgrading an ISA 2004 Standard server to 2006 Enterprise but I don't want to waste my time if it isn't going to work. I can build a Virtual Server and try and test this but it will take me some time. If anyone knows I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Andy

OK, I built a VM and installed ISA 2004 Standard and patched it to ISA 2004 SP3. I then attempted to install ISA 2006 Enterprise and it failed with a message saying unsupported upgrade. Does anyone know a workaround to upgrading ISA 2004 Standard to ISA 2006 Enterprise (other than uninstalling ISA 2004 Standard)? Are there any CLI switches that can be used?

Thanks

Andy

Gave up in the end and got a copy of ISA 2006 Standard.... To be honest I can't see too many differences between 2004 & 2006. Probably need to read the release notes. I still have issues with accessing certain websites though so I am thinking either the issues aren't fixed in 2006 or my issues are elsewhere (
