The home has SP2 and when I tried to upgrade it says it can't because it's a newer version. Is there a work around?

Thanks!

fdisk the hard drive and start from scratch. It is always beneficial to do a clean install instead of an upgrade.

If it was installed as a servicepack rather than slipstreamed in your HOME CD. Then upgrade to PRO and reinstall SP2.

Slipstream SP2 into your PRO CD and use that to do the upgrade.
