from what version are you coming from.
You will need the new firmware and card manager to re-wright the card, you then plug in the card to the cpu and it will upgrade itself within a while or you can set a time for it to do it on.

And depending to what firmware you would like to go, you might need some licences.
Better go to your BP, they have the right tools and firmware. Or do you have a SEBA login?
