Hey all, I have a question for ya. I have some servers that are windows 2003 std and some that are Windows 2003 RC2. I like some of the new features of RC2 like the better quota manager and Unix for Windows Interoperability Components. I don't want to have to rebuild my servers to get these new components. Is there a way to upgrade the Windows 2003 server to Windows 2003 RC2?

Thanks,

Yeah put the r2 cd in and choose upgrade, enter product key and click next a couple of times.

If any of the servers you are updagrading to r2 are domain controllers you will need to run adprep /domainprep and adprep /forestprep from the 2nd r2 Cd to update the schema version before adding r2 DCs.
