Upgrade from version 1.0 ?

I've been using the original version of Indesign for a few years and have just upgraded to Windows XP - wondering whether I should upgrade to Indesign CS?

I work on a monthly sports newspaper which is mainly straight text boxes and importing of Tiffs.

If ID1 still works, keep using it. There have been plenty of advancements in IDCS. Separation previews and general speed enhancements make it a useful upgrade. You might want to hold out until the next release of InDesign since IDCS has been out for a while now.
