Upgrade from Sp1 to Sp2.1

Was usign IM7 Sp1 and recently upgraded to SP2.1 - it turned out, there isn't an upgrade path hence removed and installed SP2.1 .
I am able to monitor Compaq servers as before with Web Agents installed as before. But, whereas as in SP1 I WAS able to drill down the server but, I am not able.
So, do I need to re-install the Web Agents again on each server....or perhaps remove the IM7 server and re-install.
