Upgrade from SCCS 4.2 to SCCS 5.0

HI EVERYBODY,

I wonder if someone know when upgrade sccs 4.2 to sccs 5.0 i could lost my database or i can be sure that my database will be safe.

As long as you get a good backup, you should be safe. I would recommend having a couple of diffrent network backups just in case, but i have never had a problem restoring during the upgrade process.

I agree.

I would also do a upgrade to new server. In case you have any issues with new 5.0 server, you can easily revert back to 4.2
